Getting to Limerick

The closest airport is Shannon (33 km).
From Shannon, you can take a local bus to Limerick City (Bus Station). Buses stop on the left side of the terminal building as you’re coming out from the airport.

In Limerick, you will find a taxi range in front of the Station, and they will bring you to the university. Alternatively, Bus 304 stops across the road from the train station and goes to the University.

The J.J.Kavanagh bus company has direct buses from Shannon Airport to the University of Limerick (The Stables) several times a day.

Dublin Airport is 209 km away and can be reached in around 3h by public transport.
There are several direct buses between the University of Limerick (Stables stop) and Dublin Airport:

(all these have two stops at the University – at the UL flag poles for Castletroy Park Hotel and the Travelodge, and at The Stables for Cappavilla).
You will find these buses in Dublin Airport in the light blue area top left
